ALMAZ means diamond in some Arabic dialects. We used the name ALMAZ because we know how difficult sorting through loved clothing is. Walking into a thrift shop can be intimidating, at ALMAZ we've done the sifting for you and left you with only diamonds in the rough!

Hijab is an Arabic word that linguistically means a barrier. It is commonly used to refer to the headscarf and modest ware that many Muslim women wear.

Just like many aspects of our faith, hijab is not a destination.

A Hijab Worthy Wearable is an item of clothing that facilitates wearing hijab. There is no one standard when it comes to Hijab Worthy Wearables as each of us is on her own journey to hijab and comes from her own place.

The word abaya traditionally refers to a long light overcoat/dress. It’s worn over your what you’re wearing. As Abayas have become more widely used, they’ve also embraced their own character. There are a large number of items that may not be exactly Abayas but are also very close in use and have multiple other names, those are abaya+ items. So jilbabs, dishdashes, abayas, thobes, kaftans, whatever you may call them are all Abayas+.

Every item we receive is inspected and given a condition.

Items are inspected for tears, stains, and signs of normal wear and tear. Items with tears or stains that are visible and disruptive to the item are not accepted. Very minor defects maybe accepted, and the item will be deemed really loved.

New with Tags An item received with tags and has no signs of wear is considered New with Tags.

PreLoved The item appears new but has no tags, this item is basically "new without tags", but we didn't want things to get confusing. This is an item in need of a loving home.

Loved An item that still looks and seems fresh but has lost that "new item" feel. May show very small signs of wear and tear.

Really Loved This item was shown love. Shows some signs of wear and tear and may contain minimal defects.

Our items are very diverse and come from very diverse brands.

Brand Name Listed: the item came with a brand tag and the brand is a familiar one within the category the item belongs to.

Varied: the item came with a brand tag, but the brand is not a brand that can be found via a web search.

UNKNOWN: the item did not have any brand tag and the brand is unknown.

This is a special collection that will be curated from our sisters' closets by our wonderful sisters. We know evening wear is often frustrating because we rarely wear it more than once or twice but then have no place to pass it on. It is the antithesis to being more conscious, more sustainable, and more affordable!

We offer two shipping options to the US:

1. Free Shipping on orders of $60 or more.
2. Flat Rate Shipping of $8.75 for all orders below $60.

We offer two shipping options to Canada:

1. Flate Rate Shipping of $16.00 to orders going to Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, or Saskatchewan.
2. Flat Rate Shipping of $25.00 to orders going to British Columbia, New Brunswick, New Foundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island.
3. We currently only ship to the above provinces.

We would love to offer free shipping all around but as our items are already discounted due to their loved nature, we cannot afford to fully cover all shipping costs. That said, our flat rate shipping fee splits the shipping cost between us and our wonderful customers.

Our goal is to get every order out within 72 business hours but cannot guarantee this at this point. We request your grace and appreciate your kindness as we are new to this sphere. 

ALMAZ Diamonds Wedding Wearables Collection

The marketplace has its own shipping options. Sellers will ship orders within 3 days of the order being received, if an extended time is needed, the seller must notify both ALMAZ and the buyer via email.

Items are shipped from each individual seller location. A flat rate of $9.95 is applied to items shipped from each seller location.

If you purchase multiple items from the same seller, you will be charged one shipping charge of $9.95. If you purchase items from multiple sellers, you will be charged $9.95 for each seller.

For example:

• Order consists of 3 dresses all from Seller A. This order will have one shipping charge of $9.95.
• Order consists of 2 dresses from Seller A and 1 dress from Seller B. This order will be charged two shipping charges of $9.95 each, one for the shipping label for Seller A and one for the shipping label for Seller B.

We currently ship to any residential address in the United States. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. We also ship to select provinces in Canada, please see our shipping policy for details.

The ALMAZ Wedding Wearables collection only ships to any residential address in the United States. We do not ship to Canada or internationally at this point.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. As each of our items is unique there is a $1.99 restocking fee per item. 

To start a return, please email us at care@almazwearables.com with the following information:

• Order number
• Item(s) needing return
• Reason for return

If your return is accepted, you will have the following options for your return:

1. Store Credit: You will receive a full refund (minus any initial shipping fees charged and/or restocking fees) in the form of store credit and receive a prepaid shipping label.
2. Refund to Original Form of Payment with Prepaid Shipping Label: You will receive a refund for the original charge minus a $7.50 fee for a prepaid shipping label and/or any restocking fees.
3. Full Refund to Original Form of Payment: You will receive a full refund minus any restocking fees to your original form of payment. You are responsible for return shipping.

Once your return is processed, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order once received and contact us immediately if the item condition does not match the listed condition upon purchase or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can correct the issue.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on TOO LOVED, final sale items, or gift cards. If your purchase is an ALMAZ Diamonds Wedding Wearables purchase, please see the return details below.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded based on the choice you made when creating your return request. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

ALMAZ Diamonds Wedding Wearables

ALMAZ Diamonds Wedding Wearables Collection is an e-commerce marketplace for you! Sellers and buyers can list and/or purchase Hijab Worthy Evening Wearables.

These purchases are typically non-returnable, but ALMAZ will investigate refund/return requests for the following reasons:

• The item does not match the description/listing, this includes differences in color, brand, sizing, and condition
• There is damage to the item that was not disclosed in item listing
• The wrong item was received

To be considered for a refund/return request, you must submit your claim no more than 3 days after the delivery date of the courier's tracking confirmation. After 3 days have passed the seller is compensated for their sale and the sale becomes final.

To begin your claim, send us an email at care@almazwearables.com with the following information:

1. Order number
2. Photos that clearly identify the issue with your order including any discrepancies in the listing and/or damage
3. A written description of your grievances

Once the claim is submitted, ALMAZ will investigate, and this can include speaking with the seller and/or requesting further information from either individual. If ALMAZ approves the request, the buyer must ship the item back within 5 days of approval to receive the refund. Once the item is received and the seller confirms, the refund will be processed by ALMAZ. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card to process and post the refund.

You will receive an email with tracking information once an order is ready for shipping. If you have not received shipping information or are in need of more assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
